You like to chop off monarchs’ heads and believe that people should be treated fairly. The brets play a lot like a rugby team, able to do quick lateral passes for positioning and running plays, while not quite having the deep forward pass capabilities of the elf (or even human) teams. Bretonnians also have the ability to have up to EIGHT players that start with block or wrestle, giving them an early blocking advantage that is usually only seen on the likes of dwarves or norse. Those born into nobility are seen as being simply better than everyone else, the bluest of blue bloods, true thoroughbreds of the human race. Their society believes in strict adherence to chivalry, nobility and birthright. Their military might is known throughout the land, their armies only being surpassed by those of the Empire of Man. The Kingdom of Bretonnia is a feudal human society situated between the Grey Mountains and the Great Ocean. ".Thou shalt give unto thine glorious liege the taxes that he requires.Thou shalt labour all but feast days. And no more than a tenth-share shall you keep for kith and kin.Rejoice! For a Knight of Bretonnia provides your shield" This week, we’re getting ready to oppress some peasants as we take a look at the newest team to be added to an official Blood Bowl product, the Bretonnians. In our last installment, we went a bit ogreboard with the ogre team. If you are new to the series, or just want to revisit or catch up on past articles, there will be a list of links to previous weeks at the bottom of this.
